Description
At Canon EMEA, we are looking for a Personal Assistant/Team Coordinator to provide support to our Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Operations within our Business to Consumer business unit. This role also provides support to their direct reports and wider teams.
This is a dynamic role with responsibility for a wide range of administration and coordination activities and requires flexibility, problem solving skills and a pro-active approach.

In addition to a salary of between £29,750 - £35,000 depending on experience, you'll be eligible for a performance-based bonus of 10%. What we ask
Your role will expose you to activities including:
Providing the VP, along with their direct reports ongoing proactive and timeline support, including diary management, travel, data gathering etc.
Organising and booking hotels, coordinating travel visas along with any amendments and cancellations.
Providing team support for events and customer contact.
Managing processes to ensure sufficient and accurate stationery and general office equipment.
Managing procurement processes including setting up new suppliers, raising purchase orders on behalf of the department.
Other general administrative duties/projects.
You will need
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, and therefore we are looking for you to demonstrate:
Experience as a pro-active and efficient administrator to a team or as a personal assistant.
Experience within a corporate environment, ideally working at a senior management level.
Proven experience working with visas and other travel requirements.
Pan-European sensitivity with proven experience of working in a diversified European team.
Significant knowledge and experience using applications such as Excel and other O365 tools.
The successful candidate will be:
Organised and accurate with the ability to exercise initiative throughout.
A strong communicator with a high degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people.
Able to work well under pressure and maintain a flexible approach to changing department demands.
Able to use discretion and diplomacy, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
Analytical with key eye and attention to detail.
Pan-European cultural sensitivity.
Resourceful and innovative to support executive.
Able to manage a varied and complex workload, using independence and initiative throughout.
