We have an exciting opportunity for you! We're seeking a motivated individual to lead the development of our pathology equipment database for our new Indexor system. This role goes beyond data entry – you'll play a key role in enhancing a system that improves decision-making and streamlines equipment management across the organization. Your responsibilities will include: Develop and implement the framework for our new Indexor system equipment database, ensuring accurate tracking and efficient management of service, maintenance, and repairs. Serve as the central point of contact and subject matter expert for all pathology equipment inquiries, offering support and troubleshooting. Collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers to maintain open communication and seamless information flow. Your Qualifications: Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. Experience with databases and data management systems is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Main duties of the job In this role, you'll gain in-depth knowledge of our Indexor system through dedicated training, becoming a valuable asset for its use. Leveraging this expertise, you'll play a key role in creating a new equipment database within the Indexor system. To ensure a smooth rollout, you'll visit equipment locations, coordinating and overseeing system installation. Your knowledge will translate into user-friendly guides and clear procedures (SOPs) for maintaining and managing the system. With an eye on the future, you'll contribute to strategic resource and succession planning, ensuring the system's long-term sustainability. You'll be the central point of contact for equipment inquiries, keeping stakeholders informed. Data accuracy is crucial, and you'll ensure the equipment database is comprehensive and current through occasional audits and verification checks. With a focus on improvement, you'll suggest and support service enhancements, proactively identifying areas to streamline processes and collaborating to implement changes. You'll collaborate with stakeholders, gathering insights and ensuring service excellence through regular reports and site visits. Detailed job description and main responsibilities At Synnovis, we are currently shaping the future of pathology services by creating a world-leading Hub and Spoke pathology network with our NHS partners. A large part of this modernisation will involve moving 70% of our services to a purpose built, state of the art Hub laboratory in the heart of London. For now, the job you are applying for will be based at one of our hospital sites however, from 1 April 2024 our people and services will start to move to our Hub laboratory in Blackfriars, Southwark, SE1, with some work remaining in refurbished essential services laboratories across our hospital network, focusing on the rapid turnover of urgent tests. As the new Pathology Equipment Support Co-Ordinator, your main duties and responsibilities include: Ø Create a new Indexor equipment database. Ø Co-ordinate and actively manage system installation. Ø Create user guides and SOPs for system maintenance and management. Ø Strategic resource and succession planning for system maintenance Ø Log and support all enquiries with Pathology Equipment repairs and maintenance activity in support to stakeholders. Ø Ensure that the Equipment database records are accurate, comprehensive and updated as and when required. Ø Regularly audit and update database records (through physical verification). Ø Set and maintain key performance indicators and operational targets are met. Ø Raise, highlight and report issues to the internal and external stakeholders. Ø Create Shopping carts in Ariba and complete goods receipts when required. Ø Expedite service requirements and act as business liaison with suppliers to achieve timely issue resolution. Ø Proactively identify improvements and enhancements to processes and work with process owners to implement. Ø Regularly liaise with key customers to understand supplier issues or concerns.
