About the Role
We are seeking an experienced multi-skilled Plumber to join Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing, working within a social housing or local authority environment. You will undertake plumbing and other trade repairs and maintenance work, delivering high quality, ‘right first time’, and cost-effective building services to the business and its customers. Your role will include conducting work in accordance with current legislation, British Standards, Codes of Practice, safe systems of work, and recognised industrial standards, while minimizing damage to the fabric of the property.

Extended skills required may include ceramic tiling, basic carpentry, vinyl floor laying, and decorating. You will be provided with a company vehicle and fuel card for working hours. A full manual UK driving licence is essential.

Experience
Proven experience as a multi-skilled plumber, preferably within social housing or local authority environments. Ability to undertake associated trade tasks within competency. Extended skills in ceramic tiling, basic carpentry, vinyl floor laying, and decorating are desirable.

Reliable and motivated with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Ability to work effectively within a team and independently. Willingness to work on a rota basis Monday to Friday. A full manual UK driving licence is essential as you will be provided with a company vehicle.

Qualifications
NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent in plumbing or relevant trade qualification. Long-term relevant trade experience is essential.
