About the Role
The Portfolio Office Manager will lead and manage the performance, activities, and operations of the Digital Experience Unit Portfolio Office. This role involves close collaboration with delivery leads across the unit and the wider GLA, ensuring effective programme management and performance oversight. Responsibilities include managing relationships with internal and external partners, overseeing the implementation of the Digital Experience Unit’s Assurance Framework, and ensuring best practice in contract management processes. The role also requires preparing reports and presenting key issues to GLA Governance Groups while promoting equality of opportunities and a flexible approach to work.
Experience
Demonstrable experience of large-scale, high value portfolio management, delivering results on target and within budget.
About you
Evidence of using strategic analytical skills to support project delivery, including using portfolio management frameworks. Proven experience of establishing and maintaining governance, finance, project, and reporting systems aligned to complex corporate business needs. Excellent report writing skills with the ability to present papers at Board level.
Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of project management techniques, including financial analysis, project planning, risk management, and evaluation. Demonstrable experience of line and performance management of a team in a complex business environment.
