About the Role
Are you looking for a new challenge? Join Sense and make a real difference in the lives of the people we support and their families. As a Practice Development Advisor within our practice development team, you will work closely with our Operational service managers and support staff to promote and develop best practices across Sense services. Your key responsibilities will include facilitating staff training and advising on person-centred approaches, positive behaviour support, communication, sensory needs, interaction, and environments. This role is ideal for education, health, or social care professionals interested in sharing and developing knowledge of best practices for individuals with deafblindness and/or complex needs. You will receive coaching and mentoring from an experienced team member, along with train-the-trainer opportunities to enhance your skills and ability to support Sense.
Experience
Experience in promoting best practices and a mentoring/coaching approach is preferred.
About you
You are positive, with a can-do attitude, and comfortable creating and sharing reports based on functional sensory assessments. Experience in providing training/support to a wide range of stakeholders is desirable. You have an aspiration to lead and inspire those around you.
Qualifications
No specific qualifications are required, but a background in education, health, or social care is advantageous.
