About the Role
The Greater London Authority's Good Growth team is responsible for delivering and implementing the Mayor’s environment, transport, and economic strategies, as well as the effective implementation of the London Plan. The Mayor’s Infrastructure Coordination Service (ICS) is an innovative, award-winning, multi-disciplinary team focused on improving infrastructure delivery across London. This role involves managing a portfolio of collaborative streetworks projects, utilizing strong project management, organizational, and communication skills to ensure successful project delivery. You will engage with various stakeholders, including utilities, contractors, and highway authorities, to overcome delivery challenges and report on project progress.
Experience
Experience or knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Engineering (preferably civil), Project and programme management, Governance and reporting, Utilities and Capital delivery, Urban design, Healthy streets.
About you
You are a proactive problem solver with strong experience in new project development and innovation. You possess excellent relationship management skills and can effectively engage with diverse stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Qualifications
A degree or relevant work experience related to infrastructure is preferred, though not mandatory. A commitment to championing sustainability and innovative working methods is essential.
