We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Lead Progress OpenEdge Developer to join our growing team and drive our projects to new heights. The roles will be part of software teams who deliver product updates to Capita's pensions administration platform - the Hartlink product suite. It requires strong technical skills and excellent interpersonal skills, an ability to work with both onshore and offshore colleagues, and a desire to deliver complex technical solutions as part of a wider product development team. Key Responsibilities -Guide and inspire a team of developers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. -Deliver high quality software updates that meet or exceed requirements and timescale commitments. -Provide accurate estimates and progress reporting for assigned tasks in Microsoft Azure DevOps. Actively participate in process improvement activity, focussing on quality and improving efficiency. -Support customer incident resolution activities as required. -Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects and other stakeholders to ensure the appropriate solution is delivered. -Collaborating with DevOps to build and deploy new versions of applications to managed environments. -Create and maintain technical documentation relating to the- system under development. -Provide input to impact assessments for any assigned application change requests. -Conduct timely and effective peer reviews of code and unit tests.
