About the Role
Join Forestry England, a passionate team dedicated to growing the nation’s forests for everyone. As a Project Officer, you will support the development and delivery of district projects, with a particular focus on recreation projects. You will work closely with district and national staff, covering projects across the district and reporting to the Programme Manager. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your project management skills while contributing to creating amazing places and experiences, supporting wildlife habitats, improving air quality, and producing sustainable timber.

Experience
Relevant experience in project support or management is desirable. Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and manage diverse projects across a district.

Motivated to contribute positively to the environment and community. Willingness to undergo security and criminal record checks as part of the recruitment process.
Qualifications
No specific qualifications are explicitly required, but relevant education or experience in project management, forestry, environmental science, or related fields will be advantageous.
