About the Role
The London Borough of Bromley is looking for an experienced and motivated Property and Regeneration Lawyer to work within our Commercial Legal Team. This pivotal role offers an opportunity to drive excellence and innovation, ensuring high-quality legal services that support the Council’s strategic objectives. You will work within a specialist legal team focused on property and regeneration transactions, providing expert legal advice on complex and high-profile transactions to senior officers and Council leaders, Committees, and elected members. You will ensure effective service delivery and support the Council’s commitment to modernisation, including digital transformation initiatives.

Experience
We are looking for a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or FILEX with a current practicing certificate, who has substantial legal experience providing commercial and regeneration property legal advice.

About you
You should possess strong cooperation skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate yourself and colleagues within the Commercial and Contracts Legal Team. A commitment to continuous improvement, inclusivity, and collaborative working is essential, along with excellent communication skills to explain complex legal matters clearly and effectively.

Qualifications
A current practicing certificate is required for this position.
