About the Role
Sustain has an exciting opportunity for a new Public Affairs Manager to join us in making a significant impact on food and farming policy-making. Reporting to the Director of Policy and Advocacy, you will be responsible for planning and delivering our public affairs activity during a period of significant possibility for UK food system change. With your experience in public affairs, networking, and relationship building skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will work with our campaigns and communications teams on strategic communications, narratives, and framing that resonate with political audiences. Your efforts will help shape the policy debate to create an enabling environment for positive decisions by power holders for a food system that benefits people and the planet. You will possess excellent political and influencing instincts, along with a strong interest in policy development and the workings of Parliament and Government, enabling you to identify key processes and moments to maximize political attention on our issues and galvanize support for our asks and positive action on specific policy changes.

Experience
Proven experience in public affairs and relationship building.

Qualifications
