Receptionists Flexible Opportunities – Work Across Two Sites We’re looking for a Receptionist to join us at Darwin Court, our Community Centre in Southwark (SE17), and at our community day care centre, know as The Sundial Centre for the elderly, in Tower Hamlets. These two vibrant sites serve as vital hubs for health, wellbeing, and community connection. At Darwin Court, we offer a swimming pool, gym, café, and food hub, supporting both the public and residents. Meanwhile, our day care centre provides a safe, welcoming space for older adults to connect, relax, and participate in enriching activities. As one of our Receptionists, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of both centres, delivering exceptional service to a diverse community. What we’re looking for: A courteous and customer-focused individual with excellent interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work across two sites, including Darwin Court and The Sundial Centre, covering various shift patterns, including evenings and weekends. Strong administrative skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work independently. Familiarity with fast-paced environments and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Confidence using Microsoft Office packages. An enthusiasm for promoting activities and supporting the delivery of community events. Key responsibilities include: Delivering a professional and calm reception service in a busy environment. Managing customer queries, complaints, or requests and ensuring timely follow-up. Promoting and upselling the centre’s products and services. Handling and accurately recording cash transactions.
