Engaging stakeholders is key to successful delivery of the work we do. We are subject matter experts, contributing to a wide range of HMRC projects and workstreams.This is the perfect time to join our team as we face the challenge of digital records management, whilst continuing to meet our paper records legal obligations. As a member of the Departmental Records Officer (DRO) Records Management team, you will report to the Records Management Team Lead.As Records Management Manager, you will support the DRO in leading on compliance with the Public Records Act (PRA) and the associated records management responsibilities of HMRC, its agencies and public bodies.Main Responsibilities:• Support the DRO/Deputy DRO with Briefings for Permanent Secretary and Advisory Council.• Lead on the planning and delivery of key corporate records management policies and processes, including HMRC’s transition from paper to digital records• Manage HMRC’s records responsibilities and processes set by The National Archives, including the department’s Information Management Report (IMR) response and meeting obligations to transfer records to archive under PRA. • Manage the interface with Knowledge Information Management (KIM)/Assurance teams within oDPO and others across HMRC and wider government bodies.• Establish relationships with colleagues across the records management community, including the Government Knowledge and Information Management (GKIM) network, cross Government DRO network; The National Archives, the Information and Records Management Society (IRMS) and other non-government external stakeholders.• Engage with HMRC colleagues and the records management community to monitor issues and risk, escalating when appropriate via team leads, DRO/Deputy DRO and HMRC governance boards. • Develop and implement records management training.• Potential opportunities to line manage and contribute to induction and training.
