Location
South West London, based onsite at Lorraine Hewett House in Brixton. Easily accessible by tube, bus routes and overground.

Hours
Full Time - 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00 with a 30 minute lunch break. Late clinic on Tuesdays from 17:00 - 19:00 covered on a rota basis with time off in lieu.

Salary
Starting salary of £30,722.65 (inclusive of London Weighting) with potential yearly increments up to £34,085.65 subject to appraisal.

About the Role
Phoenix Futures is seeking an experienced, passionate and solution-focused Recovery Worker to join the Lambeth Consortium, led by South London & Maudsley NHS Trust (SLaM) and delivered in partnership with Phoenix Futures, We Are with You, and Way Through. The service supports Lambeth residents aged 18+ with drug or alcohol misuse. This role is part of a vibrant multi-disciplinary team based in Brixton.

You will manage a caseload of clients, ensuring all interventions and recording requirements are met. You will develop comprehensive care plans and detailed risk management plans in collaboration with clients and partner agencies to ensure goals and risks are effectively monitored and reviewed. You will work closely with community teams and consortium partners to discuss support options and make appropriate referrals.

Supporting clients through treatment, you will provide a variety of psychosocial interventions. Full training will be provided on relevant IT systems, including EPJS case management system, with experience of EPJS being advantageous.

Requirements

Experience
- Recent experience working directly with people affected by substance use in treatment services, supported housing, or criminal justice settings.
- Knowledge of recovery, care planning, and relapse prevention activities.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external agencies.
