Location
Thames Valley/Home Counties: Swindon, Newbury, Reading, and Guildford. London: North (Coppermills), East (Crossness), and West (Ashford Common).

Hours
Full Time - 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Salary
£36,000 to £42,000 per annum, depending on experience and skills, plus a £4,500 car allowance.

About the Role
We are currently recruiting multiple Regional Security Advisors to join our Protective Security team. You will work closely with site teams and stakeholders to support the performance of our physical security, ensuring our critical assets are secure. Your responsibilities will include conducting security risk assessments, investigations, and providing practical security advice as a subject matter expert. You will also support incident responses, monitor security KPIs, and promote a security-conscious culture within Thames Water.

Experience
Experience in developing and writing reports, strong written communication skills, and experience in a related discipline (risk management, protective security, etc.).

About you
Self-motivated, committed, and organized with strong negotiation and people influencing skills. Ability to communicate at all levels and build strong relationships.

Qualifications
Security Institute (SyI) BTEC Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Security Management and National Protective Security Authority (NPSA) Foundation Course are desirable. Experience in a regulated environment, ideally with a background in the water industry, is also desirable.
