Description
As a Resident Liaison Officer (RLO), you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring residents and scheme managers feel empowered and respected throughout the process of maintaining and improving their homes. You’ll act as the first point of contact for residents, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring clear communication at every stage. If you have a compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and a passion for supporting others, this is the perfect role for you. Key Responsibilities: Resident Engagement: Attend Resident Surgeries and assist vulnerable individuals with reporting repairs. Keep residents and scheme managers informed of project progress. Event Coordination: Organize consultation events and attend meetings with residents and stakeholders as required. Complaint Resolution: Investigate and record all complaints following company and client procedures. Respond to MP, Councillor, and resident inquiries efficiently and professionally. Vulnerability Support: Identify and document vulnerabilities affecting individual residents. Liaise with client housing officers and support services where necessary.
Requirements
Proven customer service experience is essential. Experience working with vulnerable residents and tailoring communication styles to meet individual needs. Full, clean driving licence required. Flexibility to travel to various sites and attend evening meetings.
