About the Role
Gateway Housing has been supporting communities to thrive since 1926. We are an ambitious London-based housing association with over 3,000 homes in the heart of London’s East End. We provide social rented homes, shared ownership, and sheltered housing. We are currently developing new homes and are partway through an exciting programme to deliver another 250 homes by 2025. You will be joining the organisation at an exciting time and be a key member of a dynamic team that wants to deliver great landlord services and strengthen our links to the local community. As a Resident Services Trainee, you will work closely with the resident services team in managing customer relationships and providing exceptional service to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction. The role will involve working in the main areas within the resident services department including tenancy management, anti-social behaviour, lettings, and rent and service charges. The post holder will facilitate effective communication, coordinate resources to support service requests, manage queries, and respond effectively to customer complaints.
Experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with homeowners and stakeholders. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
About you
GCSE grades A-C in Maths and English. Familiarity with relevant data protection and privacy regulations. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications. Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
No specific qualifications required beyond the aforementioned GCSEs, but a commitment to growth and learning within the Resident Services is essential.
