The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating existing systems and structures to identify opportunities for retrofitting that enhance energy efficiency and sustainability. This role requires a strong understanding of cost control measures and the ability to analyse data effectively. As a Retrofit Assessor, you will play a crucial role in helping clients improve their energy performance while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities: 🟢 Conduct comprehensive retrofit assessments in accordance with the PAS 2035 standard, delivering high-quality technical reports based on your findings. 🟢 Use company templates or software solutions to generate professional Retrofit Assessment (RA) packs. 🟢 Capture detailed geo and time-stamped photographs of key property areas including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, heating systems, and external elevations. 🟢 Conduct additional technical surveys on domestic properties to assess energy performance and improve customer properties. 🟢 Perform borescope inspections and assess building fabric conditions, producing in-depth technical reports. 🟢 Prepare and calculate floor plans for both gross and net property areas. 🟢 Prepare and lodge Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs). 🟢 Analyse and recommend potential retrofit measures, evaluating SAP point impacts. 🟢 Stay up to date on domestic energy efficiency trends and maintain knowledge of relevant UK funding schemes for energy efficiency. 🟢 Attend internal and external meetings to discuss project progress. 🟢 Complete any other reasonable tasks assigned by senior managers.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience: 🔵 Full UK driving licence and own transport (required). 🔵 Qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA). 🔵 Qualified Domestic Retrofit Assessor. 🔵 Experience in the domestic energy efficiency sector. 🔵 Familiarity with UK funding schemes for energy efficiency. 🔵 Additional qualifications within the domestic retrofit sector are advantageous. 🔵 Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects. 🔵 Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 🔵 Ability to meet deadlines under pressure. 🔵 Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills. 🔵 A team player with a collaborative approach.
