We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retrofit Scheme Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in overseeing and coordinating the effective delivery of our energy efficiency projects. The successful candidate will collaborate with local authorities, housing associations, contractors, and funding bodies to ensure the seamless execution of schemes.
Key Responsibilities
Scheme Management – Plan, implement, and manage energy efficiency schemes in line with organisational objectives and funding requirements. Develop project plans, schedules, and workflows to ensure timely and effective delivery.
Liaison, Communication, and Collaboration – Work closely with internal teams, client organisations, and funding partners. Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and scheme progression.
Resolution of Potential Delays – Identify, communicate, and resolve potential problems or delays. Organise scheme meetings with relevant stakeholders to ensure issues are addressed effectively.
Client Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with Energy clients. Ensure client requests are managed efficiently and act as the lead representative in client meetings.
Performance Reporting – Organise and facilitate regular meetings and updates to ensure alignment among all parties. Prepare and submit reports for funders, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to develop and foster excellent client relationships
Strong project management skills with experience in managing housing projects and energy efficiency funding schemes
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Strong understanding of the domestic energy efficiency market, including key technologies and regulatory frameworks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Desirable
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Experience working with energy efficiency standards such as PAS 2035
