Job Overview Manage the Loading Bay and Post Room daily operations Deliver excellent customer service Maintain operational standards Manage and effectively operate Loading bay and Post Room systems and equipment Maintain and implement operational standards and procedures Operational compliance X-Ray Screening & vehicle searches Health and Safety Loading Bay and Post Room KPI's Client and company reports & documentation Logistics Vehicle management Main Duties IT competence (Excel, MS Word, Google sheets) is essential as the logistics officer will manage numerous systems and produce various reports and documents. Support the Back of house/Logistics manager Deliver a consistent high level of customer service Access control of vehicles and personnel Operate and manage client systems Effectively communication in a professional, courteous & friendly manner Manage events Conduct x-ray screening Conduct vehicle searches Manage deliveries and collections Queue management Vehicle management Conduct Banking of vehicles Ensure the Loading Bay is Health & Safety compliant at all times Report, record and manage all health and safety matters (near misses, RIDDOR, accidents, incidents) Conduct audit patrols Ensure KPI's and SLA's for the loading bay are always met or exceeded Maintain high levels of housekeeping - Ensure the area is well kept, clean and tidy at all times Incident and emergency response Effectively manage and operate all site systems and equipment – reporting and resolving any faults and issues Carry out work in a safe and diligent manner, complying with all client and company policies and procedures. To undertake additional duties in line with management requests as required. Liaise and work effectively with occupiers Compliance – have a full understand of all site procedures and policies including but not limited to: A.I's, risk assessment and SOP's Maintain a flexible and professional approach in dealing with all enquiries Act as a brand ambassador of Shard Quarter at all times Observe the dress code at all times Completed all client and company reports and documentation Work as part of a close team, communicating effectively with others. Uphold great working relationships with Shard Quarter, service providers, contractors, occupiers and stakeholders Ensure PPE is utilised Assist post room team What we are looking for SIA Licence First Aid training Banksman training X-Ray Training Ability to problem solve under pressure and multitask Excellent written and verbal communication skills Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel competent Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work on own initiative and as part of a team Highly responsive and proactive, able to own tasks from start to finish Take responsibility for own actions A willingness to learn and develop High standards of professionalism
