Ward Security is on the lookout for an experienced Security Officer, who will work at our client’s premises at Camomile Court, situated adjacent to the Salesforce Tower directly overlooking the corner of Camomile Street and Bishopsgate, close to Liverpool Street Station and the Elizabeth Line The ideal candidate will possess the skills to deliver an effective and efficient service to the client. Position: Security Officer Pay rate: £13.20 Shift Pattern: Monday/Tuesday Nights - Saturday/Sunday Days Location: 23 Camomile Street, London, EC3A 7LL Must have: • Valid Frontline SIA license • Proven work experience as a Cooperate Security Officer -min 1 year • Good customer service and communication skills • High level of self-presentation • Basic IT skills • Experience within a similar position is preferred • Ability to work well in a team and capable of working off own initiative • Quick thinking and problem-solving skills • A positive attitude to dealing with people and taking on challenges Main Duties: • Act as a point of contact and information center to staff and visitors and tenants • Always conduct yourself in a professional manner • Ensure all instructions, both written and verbal are adhered to • Guard access points, permitting or refusing entry, restraining trespassers • Conduct foot patrols within defined areas as an effective deterrent in the protection of the client’s property and assets. • Investigate and take the appropriate lawfully action as authorized by the corporate policy on accidents, incidents, trespassing, suspicious activities, safety and fire incidents • Complete daily reports, including relevant information, observations, surveillance footage, and signatures • Excellent communication skills to all levels – verbally, written, phone and by security radios Who We Are: Ward Security provides security services solutions to a range of UK businesses.
