The Role:
As a Senior Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring L&Q's business activities are compliant with statutory and industry regulations. Your responsibilities will include:
Lead and Execute Audit Assignments: As a Senior Auditor, you'll lead and complete audit assignments, focusing on key risks and internal controls. Your work will deliver impactful audit reports with actionable recommendations.
Data-Driven Analysis and Reporting: Utilize your expertise in data analysis, employing tools like Excel and Power BI to generate insights that inform audit findings and support strategic decisions.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify and assess risks across the business, implementing strategies to mitigate them and strengthen L&Q’s risk management framework.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Engage with senior management, clearly communicating audit outcomes and guiding the implementation of recommendations to drive positive change.
Continuous Improvement and Compliance: Monitor and enhance internal controls, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulatory requirements while supporting L&Q’s governance frameworks.
Teamwork and Collaboration: Work with the Internal Aduit team and collaborate with other departments to ensure audit processes are effective, efficient, and aligned with L&Q’s strategic objectives.
What You'll Bring:
Demonstrable experience in leading audit assignments, with a strong understanding of risk management and compliance.
Advanced technical skills, particularly in data analytics using Excel and Power BI. Knowledge of SQL is an advantage.
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage with directors and senior managers effectively.
Strong organizational and planning abilities, with a commercial and financial awareness.
Experience or knowledge in counter fraud, bribery, and corruption, with the ability to lead or participate in investigations.
Qualified or studying for the CCAB or IIA qualification, or willing to work towards
