Managing and optimizing our Customer Data Platform (CDP) to drive customer engagement, retention, and sales. Working across both sides of our marketplace – the buying and selling of books – you will lead the planning, delivery, reporting, and optimisation of marketing campaigns, ensuring that they align with our business objectives and resonate with our audience. Your key responsibilities will be Campaign Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive CRM strategies to drive profitable sales, increase repeat purchases, retention and brand engagement. Own the content calendar and trading plan to deliver relevant, timely, targeted CRM campaigns across email, app and web Monitor key book industry news, events and releases. Campaign Delivery: Own the end-to-end delivery of marketing campaigns Manage segmentation, personalisation, and automation within the system Write compelling, on-brand copy which drives emotion/action with our audience Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and analyse the performance, effectiveness and ROI of campaigns Present insights and recommendations from key metrics to senior management. Utilize A/B testing and other methodologies to optimize campaign performance. Optimization and Improvement: Continuously refine and enhance processes and workflows Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, incorporating new techniques and technologies as appropriate. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely across product, pricing, operations and merchandising teams Provide training and support on CDP/CRM best practices and tools. This role requires a strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset and experience in fast-paced e-commerce or retail business. To succeed you will also need: Experience in a CRM role, preferably in a business with large SKU and customer numbers. Knowledge of the book industry and/or marketplaces would be a bonus Strong understanding of CRM/CDP systems and tools – ideally Bloomreach. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Excel and Tableau. Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously. Education to bachelor’s degree level (Business, Maths or English advantageous). Please note: This role is offered as hybrid working and can be based from our offices in Goring by Sea, London or Coventry.
