Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Location
Newport, Titchfield (Fareham), Manchester or London. We operate a flexible hybrid working model across the UK, with colleagues linked to one of our contractual locations and working between office and remote throughout the week. As part of the hybrid working arrangement, there is a 40% minimum office attendance requirement.

Salary
£58,594 - £70,634 (National: £58,594 - £66,043, London: £63,751 - £70,634) plus up to £7,500 skills allowance.

About the Role
We’re looking for someone to join our DAP (Data Access Platform) team as an Infrastructure Engineer, working within our Corporate IT & Services division. You’ll be supporting a brand new Cloudera big data platform, and we’ll be looking to you to establish and embed best practices within the team. Your duties will include providing technical leadership, working with technical architects to translate design into operations, and leading the build, management, support, and maintenance of solutions. As an experienced infrastructure professional, you’ll have extensive expertise, able to lead teams in the design, administration, and support of infrastructure solutions and services, including guiding testing activities and managing risks. You’re knowledgeable in maintaining the lifecycle of a service, can communicate its benefits, and can ensure it is championed by you and your team.
Experience
Extensive infrastructure expertise with a proven track record in leading teams and departments in the design, administration, and support of infrastructure solutions.

Highly knowledgeable in maintaining the lifecycle of a service, with strong communication skills to convey its benefits. You should be able to lead and direct teams effectively.
