Overview of the role We are looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to join our Wonderly events marketing team. Reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager, this role will work across a portfolio of large and small scale events and conferences for two key client accounts. Whilst supporting the Head of Marketing to drive strategic partnerships for two market leading events. Responsibilities: Responsibilities Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans, across a portfolio of 7-10 large and small scale events and conferences for two key clients. Deliver and manage end-to-end marketing campaigns for assigned events, utilising digital marketing channels, social media, email marketing, and direct outreach to drive attendee engagement and meet attendance targets. Maintain website pages for all relevant events and conferences that fall within this remit, driving user engagement and optimised conversion funnels where applicable. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of marketing activities, including copywriting and content creation, and the design and production of marketing materials. Work closely with the Head of Marketing and Partnerships Director to identify and communicate with potential contra partnerships and deliver the activity and reporting Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimisation to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and maximise ROI. Assist with on-site event logistics and coordination to ensure smooth event execution and positive attendee experience. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in event marketing, contributing innovative ideas to enhance event success and audience engagement. Provide support to the Head of Marketing, Senior Marketing Marketing Manager and team members on additional projects and initiatives as needed. Skills / Experience / Knowledge / Minimum Criteria: Skills / Experience / Knowledge / Minimum criteria Previous experience in event marketing is preferred, but candidates with a strong interest in transitioning into event marketing are encouraged to apply. Degree, qualification or relevant experience within marketing, communications or related fields is a must. Knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing software Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Confident and creative copywriting, who takes a customer centric approach to content Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across teams and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to adapt your working style to reflect client needs Experience operating within and respecting brand and tone of voice guidelines Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and achieving results. Proactive and self-motivated, with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
