Senior Mechanical Engineer
Location
Hampton, Hybrid – Hampton Coal Wharf.
Hours
Full Time - 36 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Salary
£46,000 to £65,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will oversee the design development of several water network projects by engineers and consultants from the initial concept design and feasibility stage to contract award. You will identify, analyse, and mitigate project risks to realise opportunities, enabling scope definition and robust pricing by contractors. Additionally, you will ensure contractors make any necessary design changes during construction and undertake detailed design. You will be responsible for providing the Project Teams with the support they need during the commissioning and handover of assets, conduct design reviews to ensure robust and safe solutions that meet business and operational requirements, and act as the key contact for the CDM Designer or Principal Designer role during the initial design stages.
Experience
Hold a Mechanical Engineering HNC or a degree, or a master’s degree in a specific Mechanical Engineering discipline. Be a chartered engineer or approaching chartership status with a relevant professional organisation. Understanding the principles of project delivery in process industries. Understanding of Health & Safety in the Construction Industry. Understanding the decision of industrial processes in their Engineering discipline.
