This is a key management role within Estates, working to the Head of Operational Contract Manager to deliver Hard/Soft Facilities Management services in our HMRC locations. This role gives you the opportunity to take a management role in the development and delivery of a fast-paced professional team,supporting customers within our buildings and responsible for operational contract management delivery. The role will be responsible and accountable for the team outputs to support the contract management.This role will be a key interface and work closely with Senior Management in local teams to optimise contract performance and support with the contract issues, contract compliance and escalations where the supplier is not delivering their contractual obligations. Working with the local teams and other estates teams to develop new contractual requirements and issue contract variations with the support of commercial and issue contract variations. Managing operational contract risk and providing evidenced based assurance to Senior Leaders on contract performance and compliance and updating on action plans where performance has not been achieved.The job holder will be influential in developing and evolving a professional team. You will use your knowledge and tenacity to optimise the contract both from performance delivery and value for money. You will play a key role in the demobilisation and mobilisation on this and future contracts.
