About the Role
Are you a payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being part of a collaborative People team? We are seeking a confident and experienced Senior Payroll & People Officer to lead all aspects of pay, payroll, and pensions at Via. You will be the go-to expert for our end-to-end payroll process, working closely with our outsourced provider and supporting the wider People Team with administration, projects, and data management.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. Responsibilities include managing payroll changes, liaising with pension providers, coordinating the Pay Panel, and supporting key people initiatives. You will also be the first point of contact for pay and people queries, so being approachable and solutions-focused is essential.

Experience
- Proven experience working within an HR/People team environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and pension schemes.
- Confident using payroll systems and Microsoft Office tools.
