About the Role
Join Thames Reach as a Senior Practitioner at the Lambeth Assessment Centre, a fast-paced service dedicated to supporting people experiencing street homelessness. The centre provides short stay accommodation and wrap-around support, working closely with external partners in physical health, mental health, substance use, and housing. Staffed 24 hours a day, the centre ensures rapid referral and transition of clients into stable, longer-term accommodation within 28 days.
In this role, you will directly manage the staff team and oversee day-to-day operations of the assessment centre. You will foster a culture of high performance, ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines, report incidents to senior management and commissioners, and develop strong partnerships with key agencies across London. Your leadership will be vital in maintaining the centre’s effectiveness and ensuring clients receive timely and appropriate support.

Experience
- Proven experience in organising and managing the operations of a complex, busy service.
- Experience in directly managing staff and overseeing the management of others.
- Strong financial management skills related to service delivery.
- Outcome-focused with a track record of achieving results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
