We have a fantastic opportunity to join a leading international humanitarian organisation taking a leadership role in transforming how we operate within the Crisis and Emergency Response service, focusing on outcomes for people in crisis. You will have responsibility for establishing, embedding and improving agile product management across British Red Cross' disasters and emergencies UK portfolio. Ensuring that users are at the heart of our design and development process, we are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead on the design, delivery and continuous improvement of Crisis and Emergency Response services and products. The Senior Product Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team and own the creation and progression of the product vision, strategy and objectives. A day in the life of a Senior Product Manager - Crisis and Emergency Response will involve: Lead the product team, promoting an Agile Product Management approach to developing products and services for Crisis and Emergency Response Shape the overarching strategy for the wider product portfolio and ensure work is strategically aligned and meeting user needs Ensure the approach to bringing the product strategy to life is clearly set out and continuously improved Ensure a fully managed product portfolio Translate the strategy into roadmaps, plans and OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) to clarify goals and actions to achieve them Manage relationships with key internal partners and ensure that plans for the delivery and development of Crisis and Emergency Response products are appropriately coordinated and integrated with them and other internal departments Manage relationships with other internal and external stakeholders, to understand their product requirements, effectively manage their expectations, identify appropriate subject matter experts and signpost them to the relevant Product Manager Ensure the product budget is prepared, monitored and delivered within the framework of the Corporate Strategy to develop more resilient communities who are equipped with first aid and humanitarian skills. Create and evaluate business plans as appropriate to ensure the product squads are fully equipped and prioritising development that maximises the impact of our products. To be a successful Senior Product Manager - Crisis and Emergency Response, you'll need: Strong knowledge of product management best practice and techniques. Strong knowledge of Agile principles and its frameworks. Knowledge of Agile techniques to be able to guide the team to adopt the appropriate approaches. Ability to translate awareness of the internal and external environment into coherent strategies and plans. Ability to build effective and strong interpersonal relationships - relates easily and effectively to colleagues, customers and partners. Ability to collect and analyse data and promote the use of metrics and data to drive improvements to products and ways of working. Excellent servant leadership skills, embodying an Agile mindset.
