We're seeking a visionary Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in the waste industry and sustainability to lead our ambitious projects aimed at achieving a circular economy and driving net-zero carbon emissions through innovative digital solutions. The Role: As the Senior Project Manager, you will be instrumental in: Leading and delivering high-impact waste management projects from inception to completion. Engaging with local government agencies, community groups, and industry partners to advance our sustainability and net-zero goals. Managing project budgets for the digital twin programme focused on implementing efficiencies in borough waste-related services. Your Impact: Manage the development of a central system to create a single source of truth for all waste data for WLWA and the boroughs to deliver cost savings and efficiencies. Work in cross-functional teams to support other initiatives such as access to services and social value and reuse programmes, with the digital twin providing critical underpinning information. Establish relationships with key stakeholders and foster a culture of data-driven decision making within the Authority and externally. Champion the principles of the circular economy and work towards achieving net-zero carbon emissions in all projects. Who You Are: A degree holder in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field, with a robust background in project management. An experienced project or team leader with a proven track record in managing change, particularly within the waste management and sustainability sectors.
