About the Role
Join Bupa’s Radiology X-ray and CT department at Cromwell Hospital, a major international private hospital in West London serving both UK and international patients. The hospital offers 180 beds, 4 suites, 6 theatres, medical and surgical wards, CDU, level 2 and 3 intensive care, paediatrics, diagnostic services, physiotherapy, and a dedicated day surgery unit. The radiography services include Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, MRI, CT, General X-ray, and Mammography, with a partnership onsite with Genesis Care for therapeutic services. The department is ISO 9001:2015 accredited and provides a wide range of nuclear medicine examinations for cancers, heart disease, gastro, endocrine, and neuro disorders.
The CT Department operates one Siemens scanner and handles a variety of examinations including full body imaging, neurological, cardiac, biopsy procedures, and specialist orthopaedic imaging. The X-ray department includes two general X-ray rooms, an OPG machine, fluoroscopy room, DEXA scanner, and mammography machine. Imaging is also provided externally in Theatres, Theatre Recovery, and ITU.
As a Senior Radiographer, you will work within a team of Senior Radiographers reporting to the Superintendent, delivering high standards of patient care and technical performance. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment cleanliness and reporting faults, participating in Quality Assurance programmes for equipment and radiation protection, ensuring effective booking and reporting systems, and contributing to an on-call rota with flexible working hours as required.
Experience
- Post-graduate experience in a Senior II / Band 5 Radiographer role - essential
- General X-ray and CT experience - essential
- Fully conversant with Radiology Information System (RIS), PACS, and computerized patient and examination documentation
