This is an exciting opportunity for anyone wishing to work in an interesting, fast paced and collegiate environment within an established residential client base as we have a number roles ranging from an experienced principal solicitor, a senior lawyer or a legal assistant. These vacancies are as a result of internal promotions as we are an organisation that is keen to invest in development of staff. The residential team deals with a wide range of property related matters, including conveyancing of public sector stock such as RTBs, lease extensions etc, challenging housing projects and client management. This is an opportunity to develop skills to manage your own caseload and technical skills in public sector dealings. We are looking for real team players, who are self-motivated, bright, adaptable and able to deliver to tight timescales. Experience in a residential conveyancing practice is essential for all roles as you will be acting for several Councils in relation to a wide range of demanding residential local authority land matters. Experience in leading and managing residential transactions, advice and management of fee earners and clients is essential for the senior solicitor role and knowledge of the local government legislation and governance would be beneficial but not essential.
