Senior Stewardship Events Manager Location: Hybrid working between home and our London Head Office Hours per week: 35, typically Mon - Fri (with infrequent out of hours work) Fixed Term Contract up to 12 Months Salary: £50,000 (plus inner London weighting allowance of £3,344, if appropriate) per annum British Red Cross are looking for a proactive and dynamic individual who will play a central and leading role in our stewardship events programme. A day in the life of the Senior Stewardship Events Manager In this collaborative role you will guide a team to deliver high-level events for donors and prospects across Partnerships and Philanthropy. You will manage a wide portfolio of key events designed to engage donors and prospects with the work of the British Red Cross. This will build lasting relationships, and encourage continued and increased giving. Your experience and skill will help develop new opportunities to generate fresh income streams and establish long-term engagement. You will think strategically; taking the lead with innovative ideas that engage key audiences (corporate sector, public sector institutions, major donors, and trusts and foundations). The role of Senior Stewardship Events Manager might be for you if you have Great interpersonal and communication skills with a desire to work within and assist colleagues to deliver the wider team strategic priorities and operational objectives Excellent coordination and prioritisation skills, with experience of managing a range of different stakeholders Significant events experience, ideally including leading the delivery of large income generating, stewardship and high-profile events Experience with coordinating and overseeing events that appeal to a broad range of stakeholders, including influential and high value supporters Experience of project management coordinating multi-disciplinary teams working to a shared objective Closing date for applications is (23:59) on Tuesday 14th November 2023 with interviews expected to take place soon after.
