About the Role
Join Synnovis, the UK’s leading and fastest growing pathology company, working in partnership with Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals, King’s College Hospital and Princess Royal University Hospital. As a Service Improvement Analyst, you will work within the Service Improvement Team on diverse projects across Synnovis and SynLab, supporting continuous development of processes and building transformational change capability across all services.
You will lead projects of varying complexity and location, focusing on improving test result turnaround times, eliminating process waste, enhancing corporate processes, and increasing laboratory capacity. Your work will involve applying methodologies such as DMAIC Lean Six Sigma, 5S Events, SynLab Transformation methodology, and PDCA cycles.
This role requires tenacity to drive change, strong people skills to influence teams, creativity and curiosity to identify best practices, and a commitment to enhancing patient experience through sustainable improvements.
Experience
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment and with senior staff
- Demonstrable experience implementing lean projects
- Evidence of achieving measurable outcomes from improvements
- Lean principles applied in production or operations environments
Desirable Experience
- Experience in healthcare services
About you
- Ability to plan, prioritise and coordinate projects independently
- Strong numeracy skills with ability to produce and interpret statistical data
- Confident presenter with excellent communication skills
- Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Desirable Skills
- Proficiency in Visio
Qualifications
- Awareness of Lean Six Sigma principles and methodology (essential)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (desirable)
