About the Role
Join Synnovis, the UK’s leading and fastest growing pathology company, working in partnership with Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals, King’s College Hospital, and Princess Royal University Hospital. As a Service Improvement Analyst, you will work within the Service Improvement Team on diverse projects across Synnovis and SynLab, supporting continuous development of processes and building transformational change capability across all services.
Your role will involve leading projects of varying complexity, including test result turnaround time adherence, process waste elimination, corporate process improvement, and laboratory capacity increase. You will apply methodologies such as DMAIC Lean Six Sigma, 5S Events, SynLab Transformation methodology, and PDCA cycles to drive sustainable improvements.
You will engage with key stakeholders, establish project scopes, lead project teams, and apply change management techniques to ensure customer buy-in. Your analytical skills will be essential in interpreting quantitative and qualitative data to provide insights and measure the impact of improvement initiatives. You will confidently present project updates to senior audiences and promote whole systems improvement by preventing duplication and encouraging cross-boundary collaboration.

Experience
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment and with senior staff
- Demonstrable experience implementing lean projects
- Evidence of achieving both hard and soft outcomes from improvements
- Lean principles applied in production cells or operations environments
Desirable Experience
- Experience in healthcare services
Qualifications
- Awareness of Lean Six Sigma principles and methodology (essential)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (desirable)
Skills & Knowledge
- Ability to plan, prioritise, and coordinate projects independently
- Highly developed numeracy skills
- Ability to produce and interpret statistical data clearly
- Confident presentation skills
- Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Desirable Skills
- Proficiency in Visio
