Senior PPA Management Development Analyst

The Opportunity
As a Senior PPA Management and Development Analyst, working within a team of 7, you will ensure the profitable operation and delivery of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and Renewable products through managing the contractual obligations and delivery of the contracts whilst identifying improvements in performance. You will lead the implementation and onboarding of bespoke PPAs, Corporate PPAs and CFD PPAs in collaboration with other parts of the business.
The team works closely with the internal Wholesale Market Services, Volume Forecasting, Pricing, , Registrations, Metering, Legal and finance teams, to ensure the successful delivery of deals that meet required obligations and relevant risks are considered and mitigated where necessary. The team also works with external customers and wholesale trading counterparties.

What you’ll be doing
As the Senior PPA Management and Development Analyst, you will have a thorough understanding of the contractual obligations of the PPA contracts. You will support/advise the PPA Originators and our Legal teams in large bespoke/CPPA/CfD tender negotiations, ensuring contractual obligations can be operated.
You’ll be able to review complex T&Cs, suggest areas for improvement and translate operational requirements.
Working alongside the PPA Settlement and Origination teams, Finance, and Wholesale Market Services, you will be the subject matter expert defining requirement and providing expertise for PPA new product developments.
You will lead on gathering requirements and have the ability to develop any new models/IT solutions required within the PPA Management & Service team to operate bespoke contracts and will lead the implementation of new bespoke PPA products in collaboration with the PPA Settlement & Origination teams, Finance, and Wholesale Market Services.
Supporting the PPA Management and Service Senior Manager, you will help in setting team direction and objectives and will also support the PPA Management and Service Analysts providing training and expertise.

Knowledge of the PPA market desirable
VBA, SQL programming skills desirable
