Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Location: London, Cambridge or Cannock (Staffordshire)

What you'll be doing;
Working in close collaboration with the Head of Strategy & Innovation, the Strategic Project Manager will be supporting the delivery of corporate and Commercial strategic projects aligned to Veoia's Purpose of ecological transformation.
Manage key strategic projects to deliver our Green'Up Strategy including preparing the business for the complex changes that the government's Resource & Waste Strategy will bring as well as other legislation's expected over the coming years.
Work with the Commercial Head of Strategy & Innovation to ensure objectives of key projects are comprehensively understood and embedded by our Commercial teams and colleagues with full commitment from them to deliver upon these.
Take the lead on key projects and be responsible for defining, delivering, directing, interacting, assisting and informing the different teams and subject matter experts involved to ensure all project tasks are delivered on time.
Reporting to the Commercial Head of Strategy & Innovation on critical changes in the market outlook, competitive landscape, internal and external business environment.
Support with internal reporting through the generation of data and metrics to benchmark and measure performance and progress towards sustainability objectives and carbon reduction. This will include continuous improvements.
Understand impact of the Projects roll-outs on our Carbon emissions focusing on smart solutions to minimize impact and maximise efficiencies in line with our Operational Excellence and Value Creation Pillars.
Work closely with the Innovation Project Managers to take innovation seeds projects to a "go/no go" position, ensuring those are commercially viable in regards to financials but also operational delivery.
What we're looking for;
Project Management qualification - desirable.
Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
Ability to manage projects, with multiple stakeholders.
Experience in operational delivery and new models commercialisation.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to turn a vision into reality.
Excellent leadership skills, with proven ability to build high performing teams.
