You will lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align tree supply with demand forecasts and budgets. Responsibilities include coordinating procurement, logistics, and regional fulfilment of trees and materials across multiple programmes and geographies, analysing supply and demand data to inform sourcing strategies, and ensuring timely, cost-effective distribution. You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external suppliers to maintain strong relationships and efficient delivery, monitor stock, track budgets, and provide performance data for senior leadership, ensuring zero-stock by season end. Additionally, you will ensure regulatory compliance, manage risk registers, and support the delivery of core contracts and funding obligations while driving continuous improvement in systems and processes to raise service levels, reduce costs, and improve supply chain efficiency. This is an 18-month fixed term contract with a mix of working from home and at our main office in Grantham, Lincolnshire, requiring visits to Grantham no more than once a month on average.
Experience

About you
A proactive and collaborative individual with strong analytical skills and confidence working with large datasets, particularly using Excel. A good understanding of S&OP processes, contract management, and plant-based inventory or tree supply dynamics is essential. You should have a collaborative approach with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally to supplier sites, logistics hubs, and team meetings is required. An enthusiasm for the environment and alignment with our core values - Grow Together, Explore, Focus and Make it Count - is essential.
Qualifications
No specific qualifications are required, but relevant experience and a passion for environmental issues are highly valued.
