About the Role
Join Dimensions as an experienced Support Worker in a specialist supported living home providing 2:1 support to a young woman in her early 30s. This single-person home requires emotionally resilient individuals confident in supporting complex behaviours and committed to building strong, trusting relationships.

The role focuses on emotional support rather than physical care, helping her feel secure, understood, and valued. Key responsibilities include emotional regulation, positive engagement, and consistent communication. Support involves assisting with daily life activities such as preparing meals, personal care routines, and accompanying her to social groups and interests.

You will receive comprehensive training and guidance from the in-house Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) team. The home operates under a well-established PBS plan to help staff respond confidently and compassionately in challenging situations. During induction, you will be supported by the locality manager and experienced colleagues.

This role demands patience and consistency, requiring presence and engagement even during difficult moments. The individual’s interests include Barbie, Only Fools and Horses, animals, community clubs, and outdoor activities.

The home provides 24-hour support with a mix of early shifts, late shifts, waking nights, and occasional long days.
