About the Role
Join Thames Reach as a Support Worker at either Martha Jones House or Robertson Street hostels, where you will play a vital role in supporting people experiencing street homelessness. Our hostels provide transitional spaces with 24-hour staff teams who assist clients to move in, assess their needs, and identify the best next steps for their journey. You will contribute to effective day-to-day service delivery by conducting risk and needs assessments, developing move-on plans, and liaising with external agencies and councils to ensure clients receive appropriate support. Your work will focus on increasing client engagement and supporting timely moves to more permanent accommodation. You will help maintain a safe, healthy environment that reflects our ethos and supports clients’ aims. This role requires a strong outcome focus, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement for yourself and the team.

Requirements

Experience
Experience of street homelessness and its impact on people’s lives is valued, whether personal or professional. Previous experience in support work or related fields is beneficial but not essential.
