About the Role
Join Thames Reach as a Support Worker at Snow Hill Court on a fixed term contract until 31/03/2026. Thames Reach runs projects and services aimed at ending homelessness in and around London, working directly with people on the streets and in hostels, preventing homelessness, and supporting people to rebuild their lives through work, training, and volunteering opportunities. As a Support Worker, you will be part of a fast-paced Assessment Centre service where clients are referred from the street and rapidly moved on to appropriate longer-term accommodation. The service operates 24 hours to ensure quick turnaround and provides wrap-around support through liaison with external partners including physical health, mental health, substance use, and housing services. Your role will involve conducting rapid risk and accommodation assessments, liaising with external agencies and councils, increasing move-on rates, ensuring a safe and supportive environment, and fostering a culture of high performance and continual improvement within the team.
