We are looking for a Systems and Integration Manager (Application Platforms/Integrations/Automations) to join our Tools Operations Team. The role will be an internal customer facing position, leading a team of Consultant Application Platform Engineers delivering integrations and automations, providing guardrails, governance, and best practice, encompassing deployment, monitoring, and management platforms from an infrastructure, network, IT service management, and security perspective. What you will be doing: • Design, Specification, and Implementation of application and system integrations & automations. • Perform complex analysis of business goals, objectives, and needs of the wider business environment to align technology solutions, making recommendations to improve and support business activities, planning, estimating costs, monitoring metrics, providing daily guidance to the team. • Maintain a product/service catalogue of standard integration and automation solutions, ensuring that product lifecycles are communicated and managed across the business, including Pre-Sales (New Business) and Service Management (Technology Roadmap). • Where required, provide subject matter expert IT systems advice/guidance of applications, integrations, and automations, ensuring continuity of internal and customer-servicing IT systems and related equipment. • Where required, perform system patching / release upgrades, maintain backup schedules, and run daily checks on server systems infrastructure. • In the event of major faults or planned system maintenance, to undertake necessary works outside of normal working hours. What we are looking for: • Experience in Windows Server Virtualisation Build and/or Support. • Knowledge of Linux Server Virtualisation Build and/or Support. • Demonstrable experience of local and wide area networking at an enterprise level. • Demonstrable knowledge of IT Operations Management & Monitoring tooling. • Demonstrable knowledge of IT Service Management tooling. • Extensive experience delivering Automation and Process Engineering. • Demonstrable knowledge of Python, Bash, Powershell and Rest API's. • Knowledge and/or experience of working in ITIL-based support environments. • Experience of working within a matrix / shared services structure. • Ability to work effectively at pace and with competing priorities. • Good understanding of Information Security (ISO27001) principles & Cyber Essentials Plus.
