About the role Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, this is an individual contributor role but you will be the squad lead on outcomes for Operations hiring. You will be the owner on all aspects of operational hiring from forecast planning, weekly sprints and talent acquisition strategies such as sourcing, events, advertising and pipeline building. You’ll champion the use of metrics to influence hiring outcomes, you’ll have an eye for detail on trends and risks in the pipeline. You’ll love experimenting with sourcing approaches and champion building a diverse talent pools that best reflect the members we support. You’ll be Overseeing the hiring process for our operations (casework) team, this is our largest team within Beam and continues to scale to support our members UK wide Increasing our reach to target candidates whilst optimising the hiring process and candidate experience Sourcing candidates from LinkedIn, Otta and other job channels - creating pipelines for immediate vacancies and talent-pooling for future contracts Using your creativity to drive Beam’s employer brand, creating higher top of funnel engagement with top tier talent Delivering unparalleled candidate experience, including delivering constructive, sensitive feedback to candidates Becoming an expert user of our ATS system (Team Tailor), using data to track performance and suggest improvements Working cross-functionally with the Operations team to optimise feedback loops and ways we can improve our time and quality of hiring You are Highly results-driven and hungry to hire the best talent to work on social impact Highly proactive in your approach, keen to roll up your sleeves to make things happen and ensuring we are always improving Data-driven and analytical when delivering recommendations on the best hiring channels and comfortable reporting on performance Naturally organised, able to independently manage a varied workload and delegate tasks across a team A natural in active listening and relationship building: you enjoy connecting with people from all walks of life to create meaningful relationships Passionate about delivering an amazing candidate experience, including those that we are not going to offer Passionate about startups and using technology to help those left behind You’ll need Relevant recruitment experience, in a fast-paced environment working towards stretch goals (ideally high-volume roles testing a range of non-technical skills) A natural story-telling ability when it comes to persuading a candidate to join Beam An ability to multitask and manage large numbers of concurrent conversations The type of personality that gets a kick out of being busy and managing a breadth of conversations all in one day Ideally: Experience working in agency and in-house, ideally with exposure to fast-growing tech organisations Success looks like Less than <30 days time to hire for operations vacancies Maintain our 80+ NPS Candidate Experience Score Achieve hiring forecasts set per quarter (typically individually 4 hires p/m with a collective of 10 p/m About Beam We’re a team of over 120 working from our beautiful co-working space in Shoreditch and from home.
