Over the last 25 years, Groundwork’s Green Skills Teams have provided hundreds of unemployed Londoners with their first taste of work in grounds maintenance and horticulture. They are at the very heart of the delivery of several of Groundwork’s employment programmes and our newest landscaping and sustainable urban drainage projects. The team works closely with our award-winning Landscape Design Services team on projects. Each of our Green Teams offer unemployed Londoners up to six months of paid work experience in teams led by our experienced staff. We are seeking a Team Leader who will play a key role in the operation of the team and oversee, plus participate in the delivery of our grounds maintenance, horticultural and landscaping contracts. You will liaise with our current clients and support the Green Team Programme Manager in the development of new opportunities for the team. The key aim is for our trainees to receive the best opportunities to develop their skills and experience to enable them to enter horticulture roles within the Green and Open Spaces sector.
