Hours
Occasional late shifts and weekends on a rota basis (8am-8pm Monday-Sunday). Preference for candidates available to work evenings and weekends only will also be considered.

Salary
£27,722.65 per annum (Inclusive of Inner London Weighting) with opportunity for yearly increments subject to appraisal.

About the Role
Phoenix Futures is seeking a passionate and solution-focused Through The Gate Worker based at HMP Pentonville. In this role, you will provide harm reduction support to individuals with substance use issues, assisting their recovery through relapse prevention and care planning. You will act as an advocate for service users by signposting and referring them to appropriate agencies to support holistic recovery. Responsibilities include preparing service users for release and providing ongoing support within the community.

You will have knowledge of recovery and care planning, and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with both internal teams and external agencies. This role requires a dynamic, forward-thinking individual who is self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Requirements

Experience
Experience working with vulnerable adults presenting with substance use, alcohol, and associated issues is highly desirable.
