The University of Roehampton is seeking to appoint Visiting Lecturers to join our Roehampton Law School team to teach on our undergraduate programmes in the subject areas of Criminal Law, Law of Contract, Legal Systems, Ethics and Skills, Law of Business Enterprises, EU Law, Law of Torts, Law of Property, Equity and Trusts, International Human rights, Employment Law, Medical Law and Ethics, Tax Law, Law and Legal Research. The appointment/s will involve leading and delivering modules and may also involve contributing to student pastoral care.
We encourage a blended learning approach to teaching, combining traditional lectures, seminars, practical sessions, and student-led discussions in our teaching approaches. We ensure our curriculum supports good student outcomes through engagement with employability and skill-led experiential learning. We also support students by providing activities and material that extend beyond scheduled contact time. There are currently established resources for the majority of teaching to be covered.
Successful applicants will have experience in many of the blended teaching approaches listed above, as well as with supporting students, and marking assessments, at an undergraduate level. Industry experience is desirable as is experience with online learning environments. We are seeking individuals who are: student focused; demonstrate excellent interpersonal and analytical skills; and can work flexibly.

The rate of pay for Visiting Lecturers is £55 per hour. This rate includes contact time, preparation and marking, and annual leave. Additional marking and moderation and content development is paid at the rate of £25.96 per hour. When required this will be agreed in advance by a Dean or Deputy Dean.
