Looking for a hands-on role that keeps you active and engaged? Join our busy waste facility located between Reading and Maidenhead, where we manage and process clinical waste from hospitals, vets, and care homes. You’ll be operating machinery and plant to sort, process, and prepare waste for onward transfer to other facilities. Key Responsibilities: Sort and process waste, ensuring proper storage and loading trailers for disposal. Operate a mechanical bin tipper to load waste onto trailers. Run plant machinery to process clinical waste, record throughput, and visually check waste materials. Perform maintenance checks on equipment and operate a bin wash machine, including basic repairs when required. Work as part of a 16-person team on a rotating shift schedule, collaborating with different colleagues each week. Working hours: Average 38.61 hours per week. Shift system of 4 days on followed by 4 days off, alternating between an early (6am-6pm) and late shift (8am-8pm). Weekend shifts are 6am-6pm
