Water Process Capital Programme Manager
Location
Base location: London (Coppermills (WTW) - E177HE, Fobney (WTW) - RG20SF and Hampton (WTW) - TW122ES). Ability to work/travel across London.
Hours
Hybrid – 36 hours per week (Mon-Fri). Flexible working available.
Salary
Up to £60,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join Thames Water as a Water Process Capital Programme Manager. Working closely with the framework delivery partners and Operational Managers, you will be responsible for the maintenance and CAPEX investment programmes for the Service Reservoirs, Slow Sand Filter refurbishments and the GAC & Ozone treatment processes. You will have the overall responsibility of a multi-year outage programme, ensuring the programme is delivered within forecasted cost and timelines. You will work with stakeholders across the business as an escalation point to unlock any blockers within the programme. Additionally, you will make strategic decisions on priority within the programme, balancing cost, quality and time whilst meeting regulatory and internal commitments. Manage the overall programme of works, contractor costs, ensuring quality assurance and safe working practices.
Experience
Experience in delivering capital maintenance projects and/or operational clean water treatment processes. Experience in managing multi-disciplinary contractors to deliver safely to time, budget and quality. Managing indirect teams to achieve outcomes and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
About you
Commercial Acumen within Water or a similar industry. Working knowledge of roles, duties, and requirements under CDM (2015). Working knowledge and awareness of health and safety regulations. Knowledge of Microsoft suite packages. Travel between sites means a full, valid UK driving licence is required.
Qualifications
Working knowledge of bespoke systems such as Sphera, APS, PTW, and SCADA would be beneficial, but training will be provided.
