The Role We are looking for a passionate and motivated Practitioner to work within the Young Person’s Service, Via: Elev8 Health & Wellbeing Team, based in Brent. This exciting and rewarding role will provide you with significant scope for growth and innovation within the Young Person’s element of an over-arching Integrated Substance Misuse Service. Elev8 Young Persons Service is a vibrant, creative and passionate service which consists of two teams: the Health & Wellbeing Team and the Emotional Health & Wellbeing Team. Both teams work collaboratively to provide valuable support to young people within the borough. The main purpose of this role is: • To deliver age-appropriate excellent drug and alcohol services as well as wellbeing services to young people & young adults aged 11 – 25. This includes one to one key working sessions and group work. • Deliver early intervention and prevention work, in a variety of youth settings to prevent young people from engaging in substance misusing and risk-taking behaviours and enable young people to develop boundaries, emotional resilience and self-esteem. • To work collaboratively with colleagues and key stakeholder across multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring adherence with all Via policies and Safeguarding principles. The core hours of this role will be Monday - Friday 9am until 5pm (with flexibility available) and there may be some occasional out of hours work which would be considered on a rota basis.
