Contract: Fixed term Start: 4th November 2024 We are looking for someone to join our dedicated team of Learning Support Assistants to support children with learning difficulties on a 1 to 1 basis across the whole school (Nursery to Year 6) intimate care may be required. Inititally this role will be until 31st August 2025 and will be reviewed in light of pupil mobility. Candidates must have experience of working with children with SEND. Experience of working with children with SEMH needs. The successful candidate will understand that behaviour is a form of communication. A good knowledge of phonics is essential. The role is for 32.5 hours per week, 8.15am to 3.15pm with 30 minutes lunchbreak - these times are non-negotiable. We are looking for someone who is caring and patient, has a positive outlook and has the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
